11/07 - 2019 ANTLER POINT RESTRICTION (APR) NOTICE - Starting Sat Nov 19, 2019, WP implements a five year, "three-on-one-side" antler point restriction (APR) deer hunting regulation in a newly made APR zone at WP. For hunters disinterested, part of WP remains exempt as a non-APR zone. See notice.

09/10 - LAKE POPOLOPEN & STILWELL DEPTH CHARTS - Earlier this year, WP NRB contracted a side-sonar bathymetric scan of Popolopen and Stilwell Lakes. Using the data retrieved from that project, WP NRB produced depth maps for these lakes available now on the Other Maps Page on iSportsman.

09/03 - PERSONALLY OWNED FIREARMS (POF) RANGE NOTICE - West Point FWMR's Outdoor Recreation Division and West Point Range Control will be hosting their annual Personally Owned Firearm (POF) Range Days this fall, allowing eligible individuals owning firearms to shoot on range at West Point. Firing will be done on Saturday September 28 & Saturday November 02 from 0900 - 1530 on Range 5. 09/03 - 2019 PHEASANT STOCKING NOTICE (As of 09/23/2018) - The West Point Natural Resources Branch will be carrying out its annual stocking of ring-necked pheasant in September, October, and November 2018. On Monday, Sept. 30th, Friday Oct. 11th, Friday Oct. 25th and Friday November 1st, a planned roughly 420 total pheasant will be stocked between eight sites. Due to a lack of success in harvesting stocked chukar patridge in 2018, chukar partridge stocking has been indefinitely discontinued. Volunteers Welcome.

10/05 - 2023 PUBLIC HUNTER NOTICE - As it has since 2017, general public permit first-come-first-served lottery goes live at midnight on 11/01. Thirty-five permits will be once more available for the five-day General Public permit in the 2023 Regular Big Game Season.

10/05 - 2023 HUNT LOTTERY NOTICE - WP MWR-ODR staff will hold WP's annual Regular Season Opening Day Lottery on Thu. Nov 02 at Victor Constant Ski Lodge. Hunters will draw for rights to pick area spots for Opening Day. See notice for reservation process.
